Consultation & Training

I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist & Consultant (CEDS-C) through IAEDP, author of several books and numerous peer-reviewed articles about eating disorders, and have over a decade of experience treating complex eating disorders and supervising clinicians who work in this area.

I support clinicians seeking to:

• Deepen confidence treating eating disorders from a non-manualized, relational perspective
• Navigate countertransference in high-conflict, ambivalent, or treatment-resistant cases
• Integrate family dynamics, attachment, and trauma within ED frameworks

I also offer consultation for teams and group practices looking to strengthen their ED programming or expand staff development in this area.

In addition, as a Personal Analyst at the Psychoanalytic Institute of Northern California (PINC) and a Training Analyst at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis (SFCP), I provide supervision to licensed clinicians in private practice and candidates pursuing psychoanalytic training.
